ISTAC Promotion GmbH (hereinafter: ISTAC) takes the protection of personal data very seriously. With this Privacy Policy, users are informed about which personal data is collected, stored and processed, and which rights they have in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Where gender-specific terms are used in the text, these apply for both genders equally.
The Schwarzmüller Merchandising Shop is provided by ISTAC Promotion GmbH, A-4062 Kirchberg-Thening, Titanstraße 3 (“we” or “us”). This statement describes how we, as the data controller under data privacy law, process your personal data in connection with this website.

1. Which data we process about you
In the course of your visit to this website, we collect the following information: the date and time that a page of our website was accessed, your IP address, the name and version of your web browser, the website (URL) that you visited before accessing this website, certain cookies (see Section 2 below) and any information that you provide yourself, for example through filling in the contact form, registering on the website, etc.

There is no obligation to actually provide the data that we may ask for on our website. However, if you do not do so, it will not be possible for you to use all of the functions of the website.

2. Cookies/Matomo
This website uses the open source software Matomo for analysis and statistical evaluation. So-called "cookies" are used, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. We process your data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest in a cost-efficient manner in order to create easy-to-use website access statistics (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f General Data Protection Regulation).

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address and the URLs of the websites accessed) is transmitted to our server and summarized in pseudonymous usage profiles. We do not store any of your data that is collected in connection with Matomo. The IP addresses are anonymized using IP masking so that they cannot be assigned to individual users. The information is used on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. We are thus pursuing the legitimate interest in optimizing our website for external presentation.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

You can also prevent Matomo from collecting your data on this website by deactivating the checkbox for “all cookies” and confirming with “save selection”.

3. Purposes of the data processing
We will process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • in order to be able to bring you this website and to continue to improve and develop the website;
  • in order to be able to create usage statistics;
  • to recognise, prevent and investigate attacks on our website;
  • to provide you with a web-based shop system

4. Legal basis of the processing
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is our overriding legitimate interest (in accordance with Section 6 paragraph 1f of the European General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), which lies in being able to achieve the purposes referred to in Section 3 above.

5. Transfer of your personal data
Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise disclosed if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing or if you have given your prior consent. As part of the order processing, for example, the service providers we use here (e.g. shipping companies, logisticians, payment service providers) receive the necessary data for order and order processing. In the event of a statutory provision, an official order or an official investigation, however, we are legally obliged to make the relevant data available to the authority.

6. Duration of data storage
In general, we save your data for a period of three months. It will be stored for a longer period only if this is required to investigate identified attacks on our website.

If you register on our website, your data will also be saved for as long as your account exists and afterwards for as long as is foreseen by our legal obligations.

Duration of cookie storage: The two long-term cookies "Cookies accepted" and the selected shop language are stored for 1 year. All other cookies are session cookies, which are deleted as soon as the browser is closed after a session.

7. Use of social media plugins
We use plugins from the following social networks (see list below). For this purpose, we use a two-stage process, during which you can give your consent to the processing of data by the operator of the social network in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a DS-GVO. Data is only transmitted to the operator of the social network when users click on one of the icons displayed and thus agree to the transmission of the data to the operator of the social network. Your browser will only connect to the respective social network after you have given your consent. The social network receives information about your visit to our website via the plugin. If you are logged into one or more of the networks listed below, your visit may be associated with your social network account. Any interactions with the plugin can be saved by the operator of the network. Information about the use of the data collected by the respective social network can be found on the website of the respective social media company in the "Data protection" or "Privacy" section.

You are entitled, among other things, under the terms of the applicable law to (i) verify if and which personal data about you we have saved and to receive a copy of this data, (ii) demand the correction, addendum or deletion of your personal data that are incorrect or are not processed lawfully, (iii) require us to restrict the processing of your personal data, and (iv) object to the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances or to revoke the consent previously granted for the processing, (vi) know the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is transferred and (vii) submit a complaint to the responsible authorities.
